In view of the magnitude of air pollution in the country, Tata (TATA) Chemicals Limited, the country’s leading institute, has now launched a campaign to deal with it indigenously and has started a campaign to combat pollution by using salt. Tata has named this unique experiment called ‘Salt Therapy’. TATA will start this service all over India to Help peoples who are suffering from diseases like, Asthma, Allergy and breaths diseases.

Salt therapy was being used in homes for centuries and whenever there was any problem in the throat and chest of the people, they used to gargle with salt water and now Tata took the responsibility of bringing this natural quality of the salt home to home. In this therapy, the patients have to use salt to take them in the form of steam and the patients who have excess mucus in their chest, this volatile salt opens their respiratory tubes.

Now the company has made some changes to it by placing some lamps inside a special vehicle that has a layer of salt around it and through special lamps, it is heated to very little and converted into vapor and it goes through the breath through the respiratory tubes. TATA launch their first free campaign for Salt Room Therapy in Delhi.

By inhaling the salt through the breath, it opens the respiratory tubes and helps to dilute the mucus deposited in the chest. It reduces the risk of infection and is a beneficial option in diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, allergies, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and everyone can use it at home.

Founder of Salt Room Therapy India said that asthma patients, chronic bronchitis, sinus, allergies, allergic cough, skin disease are treated with its help. Pulmonologist Dr. Animesh Ray says that due to the increased level of pulsation, breathing problems are increasing in people.
