Hadimba Devi Temple :

Manikaran Gurudwara ;

Manikaran is located in the Parvati valley north of Bhuntar in Kullu district, between the rivers Beas and Parvati, a pilgrimage for Hindus and coins. The Manikaran, which stands at an altitude of six thousand feet above sea level, literally means earrings. Here the Parvati river appears to flow from the huge buildings of the temple and gurudwara, whose velocity is thrilling. The water of the river is as cold as ice. Boiling sources of hot water on the right side of the river appear to be entangled with the river.

This Gurudwara located in Manikarna is a very famous site. Gyanani Gyan Singh wrote, “Tvarik Guru Khalsa” describes that Guru Nanak Dev came here with his 5 disciples for the welfare of Manikaran. Guru Nanak asked one of his disciples “Bhai Mardana” to bring some pulses and flour to anchor them. Then Guru Nanak asked “Bhai Mardana” to pick up any stones from where he was sitting. When they picked up the stone, the source of hot water started flowing from it. This source remains and its hot water is used to make langar. Many devotees drink and dip this water. It is said that by taking a dip here one attains salvation.

Vashistha Temple :

Vashistha Temple is a major temple of Manali valley which is located about 3 km from the city, let us know that this temple is located in a village called Vashishtha which is famous for its magnificent hot water springs and Vashistha temple. The hot water springs located near the temple are considered extremely sacred and have the power to cure any disease.   1. We are planning to visit Kullu and Manali in november month for 4 days. hope 4 days are enough to visit most of the places in Kullu and Manali? Also suggest if we can see snow in Manali?
